Rated Voltage 0.6/1kV XLPE Insulated Power Cable

Properties and functions:
For 0.6-1kV cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated power cable, silane water
cure method has been employed to transform the molecular structure of PE into three-dimensional network, i.e. transforming thermoplastic PE into thermosetting XLPE.
After cross linking, the heat and mechanical properties of the cable have been
greatly improved while its electrical properties are still maintained.

The conductor operating temperature of XLPE insulated power cable is 90oC. Comparing to the conductor of the same cross section, the long-term permissible current rating will be raised 25% more than that of PVC insulated. The cable has the advantages of simplicity in construction, lightness in weight and anti
chemical corrosion in properties. It can also be laid with no limitation of level
difference along the route.

Five core cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated power cable is applicable on
the circuit of three phases and five lines, the earthing conductor and neutral
conductor are divided, so it can ensure safety of the body.

Properties of application:
1) Max. permissible operating temperature of conductor is 90oC
2) Conductor short-circuit temperature shall not exceed 250oC
3) Max. sustaining period shall not exceed 5 seconds
4) Bending radius:
    a) Bending radius of single core cable: 20 (D+d):1: 5%
    b) Bending radius of multi-core cable: 1 5 (D+d):1: 5%
    c) D is actual outer diameter of cable sample (mm), d is actual diameter of
        conductor (mm)
5) No restriction of level difference along the route for installation
6) Installation temperature: it shall be heated when ambient temperature is below
    0oC
